Crémant de Loire


A blend of three grape varieties, one white: Chardonnay, and two reds: Cabernet and Pinot Noir to obtain a supple and fruity base wine.

Soil On the right bank of the Cher river, the vines are planted on sandy soil rich in flint, on which the sun's rays are reflected. The subsoil is limestone.

Exposure Location : South, south-east of the slopes on the Cher river

Vinification Harvesting : Manual harvest in crates, then gentle pneumatic pressing (1.5 kg of grapes for 1 liter of must). Static settling for 48 hours. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature (19°-20°) for 10 to 15 days. Maturing in tanks on fine lees until February-March then filtration. No malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged in the cellar and stored on laths for a minimum of 15 months.
